The Europa League is back on our screens for the first time in 2023, with the play-off round kicking off the knock-out stages of this year’s edition.

Manchester United and Arsenal are the English representatives in the competition, which has been boosted in profile by European giants Barcelona, Juventus and Ajax dropping down from the Champions League.

With the Europa League boasting some of the biggest names across the continent, fans will be eager to not miss a moment of the action on the box.

Here is how you can watch the Europa League live on TV and live stream in the UK.

What TV channel is the Europa League on?

The Europa League will be shown exclusively live on BT Sport for the 2022/23 season.

Games will be broadcast across BT Sport 1, 2, 3, 4 and Ultimate.

Fans wishing to watch the Europa League who do not have BT Sport can still do so by buying a monthly pass for £25 (£29.99 from February 17).

This will give access to every BT Sport channel via the app.

BT broadband is not required to purchase the monthly pass.

How to watch the Europa League on live stream

BT Sport customers can also live stream games on the BT website and app.

In addition, in-game highlights will appear across BT’s various social media platforms.

Highlights of Europa League fixtures will be available to watch on BT Sport’s YouTube channel following their conclusion.

The TV picks for the first legs of the play-off round have been confirmed, which includes Barcelona vs Manchester United on Thursday, February 16.

As well as the six live matches throughout Thursday evening, the Europa League Goals Show will be on BT Sport 1 featuring the best moments from every game as they happen.
