Michael Adeniran, the father of the late 12-year-old student of Chrisland International School, Whitney Adeniran, who died during the school’s inter-house sports activities at Agege Stadium, Lagos State, has said that the management of the school are hiding the truth about the death of his child.
Adeniran stated that his wife, Blessing, who was sitting in the parents’ area at the inter-house sports, discovered that their daughter had been taken to the hospital when she decided to look for her because she did not participate in the activities.
He said that his late daughter’s lips, tongue and face were black when he arrived at the hospital and that one of the doctors told him that his child was already dead when she was rushed in.
Adeniran stated that some students alleged that his child was electrocuted and that the administration was attempting to conceal the truth, adding that the school administration was discouraging him from conducting an autopsy on his child.
