That recognition and honor may not come today, tomorrow or day after, but it will surely come 50 or 100 years from now when many of us must have gone to our graves
The 9 members of the January 6 Committee led by its Chairman Bennie Thompson of Alabama and his Deputy the amazing Liz Cheney of Wyoming have done a marvelous job. It was a virtuoso performance all things considered.
I have had time to reflect on the findings and the final report of the Committee and their 9 spectacular Hearings before their report was issued.
I just cannot help but acknowledge and eulogize the hard work, the resourcefulness and the genius of America as the best experiment in Human History and the greatest country in the World.
In some third world countries and authoritarian and dictatorial countries like China, Russia and North Korea, Donald Trump who had engineered the January 6 Coup and all of his partners-in-crime and their foot soldiers and hatchet men in the Proud Boys and the QAnon and Oath Keepers who had conspired with Trump to undermine and distabilize America would have been rounded up, Court-martialed and summarily executed or hanged just like the Chinese Authorities had done to Chairman Mao’s widow and her Gang of 4 without any iota of mercy
If you stage a failed Coup anywhere in the World, you pay with your own life, no questions asked, but not so in America!
Americans never rush to judgment on what to do.
They take their time to painstakingly investigate the Coup and what had led to it without leaving any stone unturned just like the January 6 Committee set up by Speaker Pelosi has diligently done by giving Donald Trump and his collaborators a long rope to hang themselves.
More than 400 of those suspects and criminals out of more than 800 have been tried and found guilty and convicted while the king pins among them including the eye of the storm or the center of the rebellion himself is yet to be fully held accountable or punished.
I can guarantee you that Trump would surely be held accountable and indicted and prosecuted to the full extent of the Law after the investigation is concluded.
The 9 Committee members shown in the picture below are very patient and very methodical to be sure the incident or the tragic episode does not repeat itself again in America as the Lord liveth.
I plan to do serial articles on the January 6 Report and where America is headed with those picayune details we are hearing today on major television stations and Cable stations and YouTube and on the Social Media at a time that Information travels fast all over the World at twice the speed of Sound.
Unbelievable is all I could say as I reflect on this amazing development!!!!

You can take this as the first salvo and the appetizer because more are yet to come with one or two of those series devoted to the Villains and the Culprits who are all going to end up in jail like had happened in the Watergate Investigations of Richard Nixon. It is only a question of time.
