Nollywood actor, Longinus Anokwute, popularly known as Chief Imo, has revealed why he showed off the face of his colleague, Nkiru Sylvanus’ husband, before she did.
Recall that the veteran actress, who took Nigerians by surprise with news of her engagement, conspicuously hid her fiancé-now-husband’s identity in the pre-wedding photos she posted on her Instagram page.
The thespian left her fans guessing and wondering who her mystery lover is before they got traditionally hitched on Thursday, January 12.
The newlyweds held their traditional wedding ceremony in Imo state on Thursday, January 12, and it was well attended by her friends, colleagues, and family.
Chief Imo, who was also a guest at the wedding, took to his Instagram page to post photos with the new couple, which clearly showed the actress’ husband’s face. This made him the first person to unveil his identity.
His action sparked mixed reactions from his followers who wondered why he put the groom’s face on display, without waiting for the actress to unveil him first.
