Buhari meets Abia APC gov candidate, Emenike, wife

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Thursday, received Ikechi Emenike, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State and his wife who is the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States, Uzoma Emenike.

The Emenikes who arrived at the State House around 3:15 pm met the President behind closed doors.

After the meeting, the couple presented a group portrait taken with the President in 2012.

Buhari also endorsed Emenike’s governorship candidacy.
