Just two days after the World Cup final took place in Qatar, domestic football is back with a full schedule of Carabao Cup games taking place this week.

The fourth round gets underway this evening, with sixteen teams still left in this year’s competition.

The remaining fixtures will take place across Wednesday and Thursday, with sides vying for a spot in the quarter-finals after Christmas.

But which matches have been selected for TV coverage this week?

Here are the all-important details.

What Carabao Cup matches are on TV?

Two round of 16 ties will be shown live on TV in the UK over the next few days.

The first will see Manchester United host Burnley on Wednesday, December 21 at 8pm.

Coverage on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football will get underway at 7.30pm.

The second match on the box will be a blockbuster showdown between Manchester City and Liverpool on Thursday, December 22 at 8pm.

Coverage will begin at the earlier time of 7pm on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.

How to watch the Carabao Cup on TV and live stream

Sky Sports customers will be able to live stream the games on the Sky Sports website and with the Sky Go app.

Supporters without Sky can access Sky Sports for 24 hours with a NOW TV day pass available from £11.99, or for a whole month from £33.99.

What are the remaining fourth round games?

Six other Carabao Cup fourth round matches will be held over the course of the week.

The fixture list includes an all Premier League clash between Newcastle and Bournemouth at St James’ Park, and Leicester’s trip to League One side MK Dons.
