Former presidential aide and author, Reno Omokri has declared Yoruba culture as the most polished culture on earth.
He shared a picture of UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya prostrating to his father after a match to prove his point.
According to him, the Yoruba culture was heavy on care and respect regardless of financial status which was a key to their progress.
In his words;
“in my opinion, the highest, most polished culture on Earth is Yoruba culture. No other culture generates care and affirmation from elders to youths, and respect from youths to elders as Yorubas. They respect age over ANY type of wealth. It is key to their progress! Why? Because wealth is unstable, whereas age is stable and a good security for maintaining the moral fabric of society. Open Scripture and read the Laws of Moses. They could have been taken from Yoruba culture. Moses taught respect for God, respect for parents and respect for elders. These are the cornerstones of Yoruba culture. Your money perishes with you if you think you can go into a Yoruba family meeting and lord it over your elders. This cardinal cultural buoy is why the Yorubas are received with open hearts ANYWHERE they go on planet Earth. By nature, everybody loves to be respected. Though there are exceptions to every rule, A Yoruba man at the zenith of his success is filled with enough humility, rather than surplus ego, and can PUBLICLY prostrate to his elders, or other authority figure, the way President Obasanjo prostrated FLAT to the Olowu of Ow. Scripture says “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”-James 4:6. And when you meet a people who respect you irrespective of your financial status, you open up to them. What a blessed people the Omo-ti-olu iwa-bi (the children that the lord of good character gave birth to) are!”
