The real reason behind Arsenal defender, Ben White’s decision to leave England’s World Cup camp in Qatar and return to the United Kingdom last week has been revealed.

The Arsenal man dumped the team after a bust-up with assistant manager, Steve Holland, according to Daily Star.

The English FA released a statement early last week announcing that the defender would leave the squad, citing ‘personal reasons’.

White did not play in any of the Three Lions group stage matches and became unhappy in the camp.

The player was struggling to mix with his team-mates before falling out with Holland in front of the rest of the squad.

Holland and White, according to the report, had a heated exchange during a team meeting prior to the 0-0 draw with the USA.

The assistant manager was angry over the player’s lack of knowledge of their American opposition.

And the defender was also left out in the Arsenal squad who flew out to Dubai for a training camp.
