Brazil get their World Cup 2022 campaign underway against Serbia this evening.

The South Americans start the tournament as one of the favourites to get their hands on the trophy and win a record-extending sixth World Cup.

Tite’s squad is packed with an envious array of attacking talent such as PSG superstar Neymar and the Real Madrid duo of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.

The team is also packed with a host of Premier League favourites including Manchester United’s summer signing Antony and Chelsea’s Thiago Silva.

The Selecao start their opening Group G clash as favourites, but will be wary of the many dangers posed by their Serbian opponents and they will look to avoid the same fate which befell arch-rivals Argentina in their shock defeat to Saudi Arabia.

Find out what time the match starts and how to watch on TV.

What is the team news?

Brazil have a full compliment of players to choose from ahead of tonight’s clash.

Chelsea’s Thiago Silva looks set to resume his long-term partnership at the back with Marquinhos, while Tite will likely have to select between Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus and Tottenham’s Richarlison up front.

In the Serbian camp, Aleksandar Mitrovic looks to have won his World Cup fitness race, having suffered an injury-stricken couple of months for Fulham.

However, Mitrovic may not be required for the Serbians, with first-choice striker Dusan Vlahovic likely to get the nod.
