Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out at his former teammates, Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney.
Ronaldo said he would not lose weight or sleep badly because of Neville and Rooney’s criticism of him.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus star said this while reacting to Neville and Rooney’s recent criticism of him.
Recall that both former Man United stars had criticized Ronaldo over his antics at Man United.
“I think they take advantage of that [my name] because they are not stupid,” Ronaldo said in an exclusive interview with British veteran journalist, Piers Morgan.
“And I really understand, and I have to carry on with my life with criticism. But it’s hard when you see people who were in a dressing room with you criticize you in that way. It’s not good.
“It doesn’t hurt me, I’m not going to lose weight or sleep badly because of the criticism, but it’s not good to listen to that. A little bit disappointing.”
