Australia midfielder, Katrina Gorry has kind words for the Super Falcons ahead of their meeting at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The two teams will clash in their Group B match at the Brisbane Stadium on Thursday.
The Super Falcons were impressive in the 0-0 draw with Olympic champions, Canada, last Friday.
Australia defeated debutants Republic of Ireland 1-0 in their opening fixture.
“I watched them play Canada, and they’re even more powerful than the were then. They’ve got so much speed, but a lot of class across the field. Technically, very good – if you’re not on your defensive game they’ll exploit you, and with the pace they have, it’s pretty scare,” Gorry was quoted by Age.
The game will kick-off at 11am Nigeria time.
