Three former Governors from the Northern part of Nigeria were in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Monday to flag off the presidential campaign of the PDP.
They are Senator Ibrahim Shekarau of Kano State State, Babangida Aliyu of Niger State and Boni Haruna of Gombe State.
The three former governors were at the secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the presidential campaign of Atiku Abubakar.
In Ogun State, the trio were received by the governorship candidate of the party, Ladi Adebutu; his running mate, Adekunle Akinlade; the Secretary of the PDP in Ogun, Sunday Solarin; a South West leader of the PDP, Bunmi Jenyo and other chieftains and members of the party.
In his words, Babangida Aliyu said the three former governors were sent to Ogun State by Atiku to represent him because he was unavoidably absent.
