Showing proof of transparency in the process of disbursement of the funds as promised, Davido on Monday afternoon shared a screen grab of the ₦50m he added to the donations he had received.

Newspot understands that Davido shared the proof of his disbursement a few moments after a netizen expressed doubt on if the said fund will get to the targeted beneficiaries.
The tweep identified as @soibomari had earlier said: “I told mum what Davido did and I’ve never seen her revolt so passionately against something. She said the money won’t get to the children because welfare officers steal all.
“I hate Nigeria. She said it’s so bad that nurses never want to leave welfare homes when they’re posted there.”
Replying to the netizen on Monday, Davido said, “I will personally make sure this doesn’t occur! I put that on my life!” (sic).
